About these terms
These terms describe Partner Rewards, the referral programme run by Content365 by AskShiva (“Content365”, “we”, “us”). A partner (“you”) shares a personal referral link, and when a business that has never bought from us before pays for Content365 through that link, the partner can earn a commission.
This page is a draft. It is not in force, nobody has joined, and nothing is earned yet. When the programme opens, the version you accept when you apply is the one that governs your account, and it will carry its own version number and date.
Who can join
- You must be at least 18 years old and live in India. Campus partners must also confirm they are 18 or over, and we may ask for proof.
- One account per person. Duplicate or shared accounts are closed and their commissions are invalid.
- There is no joining fee, no paid training and no stock to buy.
- You do not need to buy Content365 to join or to earn.
- We may decline an application, for example when details cannot be verified or the planned promotion would break these terms.
The three tracks
Every partner follows the same rules and the same commission engine. The tracks differ only in who they are for and in the distributor growth rate.
- Refer & Earn: for customers and anyone who knows a business that needs daily posts.
- Distribution Partner — performance affiliate: for agencies, freelance marketers, creators and consultants. This is a referral arrangement only; it gives no resale, territory or exclusivity rights (see section 15).
- Campus Growth Partner: for college students aged 18 and over who introduce local businesses.
What you earn
You earn ₹600 for each eligible new paying business that buys Content365 through your referral link. An eligible purchase earns at most one referral commission, for one partner.
The amount is fixed by the policy version in force when the buyer’s payment was captured, and that version is recorded with the sale. Amounts are gross, before any tax deduction the law requires (see section 11).
Distributor growth rate (₹800)
The growth rate applies to the Distribution Partner track only. Refer & Earn and Campus partners earn ₹600 per eligible sale.
- If, in one calendar month, you have 50 approved new referred purchases, then each new eligible sale in the following calendar month earns ₹800 instead of ₹600.
- Months are calendar months in India time (Asia/Kolkata).
- It is never retroactive: the 50 sales that qualified you stay at ₹600, and so do sales from earlier months.
- It is re-qualified every month. If a month ends below 50 approved new referred purchases, the next month is back to ₹600 until you qualify again.
- A purchase that is refunded, charged back or found invalid does not count towards the 50.
What qualifies and what does not
Qualifies
- A business that has never bought Content365 before, buying through your link, with a payment we have captured and verified, that is not refunded or charged back during the hold.
Does not qualify
- Leads, enquiries, sample requests and sign-ups that do not lead to a captured payment.
- Failed, pending or cancelled payments.
- Purchases that are refunded or charged back.
- Self-referral: buying for yourself, your own business, or a business you own or control.
- Duplicate accounts, made-up businesses or accounts created to earn a commission.
- Existing customers: a business that has bought Content365 before.
- Renewals, including the optional hosting renewal after the first 90 days.
- Sales won through any conduct listed in section 13.
How a referral is credited
- When someone opens your referral link, our own website (a first-party cookie, not a third-party tracker) remembers a pseudonymous partner code for 30 days.
- If they buy within those 30 days, the sale goes to the last eligible partner link they clicked before checkout. Your own link never counts for your own purchase.
- If the buyer clears cookies, uses another device or buys after 30 days, the referral may not be credited. We cannot add a referral by hand without evidence in our records.
- Not allowed: cookie stuffing (setting the cookie without a genuine click), coupon or link injection (inserting your link into someone else’s path to purchase) and forced or hidden clicks (pop-ups, iframes, redirects or bots).
- You cannot change who a sale is credited to, the amount paid or its approval.
Hold period and commission status
Every commission is held for at least 30 days after the buyer’s payment is captured and verified, and longer while a refund, chargeback or review is open. We check for refunds before approving a commission and again just before paying it.
- Pending
- Approved
- Payout queued
- Paid
- Pending: the payment is captured and the hold is running.
- Approved: the hold has ended with no refund, chargeback or open issue.
- Payout queued: included in the next weekly payout.
- Paid: sent to your verified account, with the provider’s reference.
- Under review: paused while we check a possible problem. We tell you why and you can reply.
- Reversed: cancelled after a refund or chargeback, with the reason shown.
- Invalid: never eligible, for example a self-referral or an existing customer.
Records are never edited in place: every change is a new entry with a reason, so your history always adds up.
Payouts
- We pay weekly, once your approved balance reaches ₹600. A smaller balance carries over to the next week.
- Payouts go through an authorised payout provider to a bank account or UPI ID in your name that has been verified. We never pay to a third party’s account or by a payment link.
- If a payout fails, for example because of wrong account details, it is retried after you correct them. It is not lost.
- Payouts start only when the programme opens and the payout account is active. Until then, nothing accrues.
Refunds, chargebacks and reversals
- If a referred purchase is refunded or charged back before its commission is paid, the commission is reversed.
- If it happens after payment, the amount is recorded as a balance owed and recovered from your future payouts. We tell you when this happens and why.
- A buyer’s refund never depends on the partner who referred them.
Taxes
Commissions are income and may be taxable. Tax may be deducted at source (TDS) before payment, for example under section 194H of the Income-tax Act, 1961, which covers commission. We may need your PAN before we can pay you.
The exact tax treatment, including any TDS rate and threshold, GST position, certificates and invoicing, will be confirmed by a chartered accountant before payouts start, and stated here. Nothing on this page is a statement of the final rates.
You are responsible for reporting your own income and paying any tax that is due on it.
Disclosing that you are a partner
Whenever you promote Content365 and can earn from it, tell people clearly and up front, before they click. Follow the Advertising Standards Council of India’s guidelines for influencer advertising, which ask for a clear label such as “Ad” or “Partnership” that people will notice. The guidelines are at https://www.ascionline.in/the-asci-code-guidelines/.
Say what is true: you are a Content365 partner and you may earn a commission if a business buys through your link.
Prohibited conduct
Any of the following can make the related commissions invalid and lead to suspension or closure of your account:
- Spam: unsolicited e-mail, SMS or messages to people who did not ask to hear from you.
- Bulk or automated WhatsApp messages, broadcast tools or bots.
- Scraping or buying contact lists, or uploading such lists to message people.
- Misleading claims about Content365: its price, what is included, results, or features that are not available yet (Reels are not available).
- Impersonation: presenting yourself as Content365, AskShiva or our staff, or copying our site, logo or ads.
- Bidding on the brand name “Content365” (or misspellings of it) in search or social ads.
- Promising income to anyone, or promising discounts, coupons or offers we have not published.
- Cookie stuffing, coupon or link injection, forced clicks, fake accounts or any other way of claiming credit for a sale you did not refer.
You may suggest a business you know to us, and share your link in your own conversations with people who know you.
Single level only
You earn only on eligible purchases by businesses you refer directly. There is no reward for recruiting other partners, no share of another partner’s commission, no levels, no team volume and no downline. Introducing a friend to the programme earns nothing.
Our relationship
You take part as an independent individual or business. Partner Rewards does not make you our employee, agent, franchisee or legal distributor, and it gives you no exclusivity, territory or resale rights. You may not sign contracts, collect payments, issue invoices, set prices or give discounts on our behalf. A different arrangement exists only if we both sign a separate written agreement.
Suspension, termination and disputes
- You can leave at any time by writing to us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, while a serious concern is reviewed, or if we close the programme. We will tell you the reason in writing.
- When an account closes, commissions on genuine, eligible sales made before closure are handled under the normal hold and payout rules, unless they are linked to a breach of these terms.
- If you disagree with a decision about a referral, a reversal or your account, write to us with the details. We will review the record and reply in writing, and you can ask for a second review.
Governing law, jurisdiction and any formal dispute process will be set out after legal review.
Changes to these terms
Every version of these terms has a version number and an effective date. A sale is always judged by the version in force when the buyer paid. Changes are never retroactive: they do not reduce commissions already earned. We will tell partners before a new version takes effect.
