Admissions open, and suddenly every coaching centre in your area is everywhere at once. The big chains have banners on every flyover. The institute down the road is running reels of toppers. Parents are asking in their society WhatsApp groups which tuition is good for Class 10 maths. And your own Instagram page shows a Teachers' Day post from last September and nothing since.

This is the trap of coaching institute social media marketing. Most centres post loudly for six weeks around admissions and go silent for the other ten months. But parents and students do not decide in six weeks. They watch over months, ask friends, compare demo classes and notice which institute seems serious, steady and caring. This guide gives you a 12-month plan built around the academic year, post ideas for every season and a weekly rhythm you can follow even during exam rush.

Who you are really talking to: students and parents

A coaching centre has two audiences, and they want different things.

Students want to know: Will I understand the teacher? Is the batch too big? Will I feel stupid asking doubts? Are there notes, tests and doubt sessions? Is it close to school or home?

Parents want to know: Is my child safe there? Are the teachers qualified and stable, or do they change every few months? Is there regular feedback? What are the fees, and what is included? Do they genuinely care about results, or only about collecting fees?

Your posts should speak to both, often in the same week. A study tip speaks to the student. A post about monthly parent-teacher meetings speaks to the parent. A post about small batch sizes speaks to both.

Language matters too. Many parents read Hindi or a regional language more comfortably than English, even when the child studies in English. Posting a Hindi caption alongside the English one can make a real difference in a family decision. Our guide on Hindi captions for business posts covers this in more detail.

A 12-month coaching institute social media marketing plan

The academic year gives your calendar its shape. Board exams, entrance tests and school sessions are fairly predictable, so you can plan posts well ahead. Check the exact exam dates each year from the official notices before you post them.

Notice that admission season posts are only one part of this year. The other months build the trust that makes those admission posts work.

Admission season posts that parents actually trust

When admissions open, the temptation is to shout. Bold "ADMISSIONS OPEN" banners, the word "best" in every line, a collage of toppers. Parents have seen all of that before. What moves them is clarity and calm.

Good admission season posts answer one question each:

  • Which courses and classes? Foundation, Class 9 and 10 boards, Class 11 and 12 science or commerce, entrance preparation, spoken English, computer courses.
  • What batch size? If it is small, say so.
  • What timings? Morning, after-school, weekend, online or offline.
  • Who teaches? One faculty member per post, with subject and years of teaching.
  • What is included? Notes, weekly tests, doubt sessions, parent meetings, progress reports.
  • How to start? A free demo class, a scholarship test, a counselling session.

Results posts deserve special care. Use a student's name, photo or marks only with written permission from the parent, never inflate numbers, and do not imply that every student will score the same. This is also where your posts should stay honest; our post on honest marketing on social media explains why made-up claims cost more trust than they win.

Tuition class marketing for small centres

Not every coaching centre is a big institute. Many are one or two teachers running tuition classes from a rented room or a home. Tuition class marketing for a small centre works a little differently:

  • Lead with the teacher. Parents choose a person. Post about who you are, how long you have taught, and how you handle a child who is struggling.
  • Show the room. A clean, well-lit study room with a whiteboard says a lot.
  • Be very local. Name the schools your students come from and the areas you serve.
  • Use WhatsApp Status heavily. Parents of your current students are your best referral source, and they see your Status every day.
  • Post useful content for free. A formula sheet, a grammar rule, a map practice tip. Useful posts are shared in class groups.

A weekly rhythm that survives exam season

If you are making posts yourself, decide the type of post for each day and stick to it:

  • Monday: a study tip or a timetable.
  • Tuesday: a subject concept explained in one picture.
  • Wednesday: a faculty or classroom post.
  • Thursday: a parent-focused post: feedback, safety, progress reports.
  • Friday: a quiz or a "can you solve this?" question.
  • Saturday: batch, demo class or course announcement.
  • Sunday: motivation, rest and balance.

The hardest weeks are exactly when you are busiest: board exam season and admission season. That is why it helps to have posts ready weeks in advance. Our guide to planning a 365-day social media content calendar shows how to set up a year of posts in one sitting.

Education marketing India: a few rules to keep

Education marketing touches families' hopes and money, so a few rules keep you on the right side of trust:

  • Do not guarantee ranks, marks, selections or jobs.
  • Do not call yourself "number one" unless you can prove it, and even then, be modest.
  • Do not post students' personal details or photos without written parent consent.
  • Keep fee information clear, including what is and is not included.
  • Respect children's privacy above everything else. When in doubt, leave the child out of the picture.

These rules do not weaken your marketing. They make parents trust you more.

How Content365 gives your institute a year of finished posts

Running classes, tests, parent meetings and admissions leaves little time for design. Content365 makes your year of posts for you. You enter your institute's name, logo and website, and it prepares 365 branded posts, one for every day of the year.

  • One image per day, 1080 x 1350 in the 4:5 shape with a square-safe centre, ready for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and WhatsApp.
  • Your real details on every post. The image model paints a scene with no text in it; the studio's compositor then places your logo, institute name, phone, website and call to action on top, from the exact text you gave. Your logo is never redrawn by the model.
  • Captions for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and X, plus Hindi, for every day, so you can speak to both students and parents.
  • Indian festivals and the financial year are planned in on the days they fall.
  • A varied year. 365 angles across 5 lenses give 1,825 concepts in 21 angle families, mixed through the year. Near-duplicate pictures are rejected.
  • Checked pictures. A vision model checks every picture for stray text and problems, with up to 3 tries per day. A day that never passes still arrives, with a visible warning.
  • No invented toppers or claims. Ratings, testimonials, awards and statistics only appear when you confirmed them.
  • Privacy built in. Phone numbers, e-mail addresses and WhatsApp links are removed from text before a model reads it.

You review every day in your own gallery first. Nothing posts by itself; we do not post on your pages. You or your office staff post them. Everything arrives in one download folder: all pictures, captions.csv, prompts.csv, calendar.csv, and a gallery that opens on any phone.

The cost is ₹3,999 including GST for the whole year for one brand, not per month. If you run a coaching centre and a separate spoken English or computer academy, each extra brand is the same ₹3,999 including GST. Posts stay hosted for 90 days from payment, then ₹3,000 a year (before GST) to keep them hosted, or keep the downloaded folder.

To try it first, the free plan gives you 2 posts for your brand every 48 hours with no payment needed. Sign in with Google and start free, or see how it works step by step.

Frequently asked questions

When should a coaching institute start admission posts?

Start building trust two to three months before admissions open, with study tips, faculty posts and parent-focused posts. Then announce courses, batches and demo classes clearly when admissions begin, and keep posting through the session.

Can I post my students' results and photos?

Only with written consent from the parent, and only honestly. Never inflate marks or imply every student will get the same result. Many institutes post a simple congratulations message without photos, which respects privacy and still shows pride in students.

What should a coaching centre post during exam season?

Short, calming, useful posts: revision timetables, exam-day checklists, last-minute formula reminders and gentle stress tips. Avoid heavy selling during exams; parents remember which institute supported their child when it mattered.

Does Content365 post on my institute's pages?

No. Content365 makes the posts and captions; you review them and post them yourself. We do not log in to your accounts or schedule anything.

Can I have posts for more than one centre?

Yes. Each brand is ₹3,999 including GST for its own 365 posts. If your branches share one name and logo, one brand may be enough; if they have different names, each is a separate brand.
